Tesla factories will replace employees with robots

In the near future, Tesla factory employees will be replaced by Optimus humanoid robots. This will solve the problem of labor shortage at the firm’s enterprises. Fortune reports this with reference to the head of the company, Elon Musk.

It is noted that Optimus robots will first perform the simplest actions in production – for example, moving spare parts on the territory of enterprises. In the future, humanoid robots will improve their skills.

Tesla unveiled its humanoid robot in 2021. The engineers envisioned a human-looking robot that would be able to take on the dangerous or repetitive activities currently performed by humans. Optimus robots will receive a video camera and a spatial orientation system.

On December 6, it was reported that the Tesla Cybertruck pickup will receive a version with four electric motors. This modification will be the first to go on sale. At the same time, it will become the most expensive version of the Tesla Cybertruck.

Later, the car will be available with three and two electric motors. It is not excluded that Tesla will refuse to release a single-engine modification of the pickup truck.
