Par en Park, the event that will bring together workshops of more than 30 artists to show the backroom of their creations

The exhibition brings together artists of different pictorial styles, different generations and most of them with enormous careers: Eugenio Cuttica, Eduardo Hoffmann, Eugenio Zanetti, Juan Lecuona, Mónica Van Asperen, Juan José Cambre, Carlos Gómez Centurión, Marino Santa María, Ana Candioti , Cecilia Duhau, Augusto Zanela, Daniel Corvino, Horacio Sánchez Fantino, Cecilia Ivanchevich, Andrea Allen, Emilio Fatuzzo, Carlos Benavidez, Ernesto Arellano, Gabriela Antenzon, Ernesto Ballesteros, Lux Lindner, Alexis Minkiewicz, Rodrigo Díaz Merlis, Mónica Tiezzi, Charlie Navarro , Cristina Schiavi, Marcela Astorga and María Inés Domínguez, among others.

In addition to the atelier of each of the artists, “Open Workshops of Par in Park” offers a central common space where the music of an orchestra meets, with several food and drink stalls to enjoy during the walk, and a terrace where to stop to contemplate the sunset over Buenos Aires.

Assistants working in the middle of the work, paints of paint, hammers and pliers, racks and canvases merge in the previous one in an atmosphere of encounter and artistic crossing, where the motto is to once again enjoy sharing art after many months of isolation. Spectators also have the possibility to buy some work and chat with the artists.

The proposal opens its doors under the curatorship of Fernando Brizuela and is focused on making visitors feel part of the art world. The tour includes entering the workshops, getting lost in short corridors that lead to some impressive work: there are colors and textures at every step that is taken. And even (perhaps the icing on the cake?) There is the possibility of meeting the enormous artist Luis Felipe Noé, leaving a line on a frame.

“Each region of America experienced the pandemic and post-pandemic in a different way, and from Central Park we want to transcend the difficulties of the circumstances to facilitate the development and visibility of all the artists and workshops involved,” explains Gustavo Fernández, owner of the complex.

From more traditional artists, such as Marino Santa María and Juan José Cambre, to others more contemporary or disruptive such as Cecilia Ivanchevich, Lux Lindner and Emilio Fatuzzo, the space offers variety, colors and textures that are crowned with an exhibition of sculptures by Fernando Brizuela made with cannabis material.

At the end of another corridor is Cecilia Ivanchevich’s workshop, neatly arranged. In a corner his brushes and finished works, the racks covered by a protective plastic, ready to be sold. On the other side and on huge tables, different pieces of fluo colored wood on which the artist still works, who specializes in free geometry art.

“The idea is to show the human hand in action, making things happen in the moment. Redraw spaces and show the battles that artists fight inside the workshop, the creative process that is sometimes playful but also complex”, explica Ivanchevich.

The appointment is today, Friday, November 26, between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in California 2000, with free admission. The entry of visitors will be specified in accordance with the capacity recommended by the pandemic.
